Key Responsibilities
Drilling holes for blasting, sampling or exploration and maintain parameters as instructed by the Overseer Miner
Perform daily inspections, and report any malfunctions
Adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensuring a safe organised work environment
Maintaining daily log sheets of drilling progress and equipment issues
Maintaining accurate hole depth, angle and alignment
Ore, waste drilling and ground support
Perform pre and post truck operation inspections
Assist engineering teams with both planned and breakdown maintenance
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years work experience as a Rig Operator
Underground Mining Experience
Valid operator certificate
Ability to read and write reports in English
Valid medical record
