Key Responsibilities

Lead worship services and preach the Word, primarily in Afrikaans, or line with the language needs of the congregation
Provide pastoral care, counselling and spiritual support to members
Congregational development and spiritual guidance
Involvement in community outreach
Facilitate congregational development and discipleship
Administer sacraments and all ministerial duties in accordance with the DRCB Church Order
Work collaboratively with Church Council and the broader Church structures

Requirements

A recognised theological qualification – BA Theology, BTh Theology or equivalent.
Ordination as a Minister within the Dutch Reformed Church or a recognised denomination (or eligibility to be recognised within DRCB)
Demonstrated Strong calling to ministry and commitment to spiritual leadership
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a diverse congregational and community setting.
Proficiency in Afrikaans as it is required for effective ministering within the congregation
Knowledge of English and/or Setswana will be an added advantage

Salary
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
