Key Responsibilities
All duties related to the medical department of a busy District Hospital:
The Officer should be able to work independently in the wards and in the outpatient department
Night and weekend calls
Supervision and guidance of Junior Officers
Management tasks
Deputizing the Chief Medical Officer
Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB)
At least 5 years post qualification
Minimum of 2 years as Senior Medical Officer in a Hospital set-up
Experience in obstetrics and ability to perform caesarean sections on His/her own
Experience with ARV treatment and in Hospital management is of advantage
Salary
D2 (337, 008 – 371, 628) per annum
