Job Description
Coordinate quality control testing and assurance activities across laboratory sections.
Develop, review, and maintain quality documents (SOPs, work instructions, protocols).
Oversee proficiency testing, calibration programs, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits (e.g., ISO 17025 compliance).
Lead investigations of non-conformances, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and CAPAs.
Ensure compliance with GLP, ISO 17025, or other relevant laboratory standards.
Train lab staff on QA procedures, documentation practices, and safety protocols.
Monitor quality protocols and recommend improvements to laboratory processes.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science – Chemistry
Or HND Metallurgical Assaying
At least 8-years’ experience in a Base Metal Analytical Laboratory
Experience in an Accredited Laboratory
Training on ISO 17025 Understanding
Training on ISO 17025 Auditing
Training on ISO 17025 Method validation
Quality control knowledge
