To supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in drawing out and processing excavated material and mandatory compliance in terms of appointment as per MQWMA Section 18.1, as well as to ensure optimisation of earthmoving activities in accordance with production goals and scheduling, alongside maintaining best.

Key Responsibilities
Provision of duties in running production shifts within Reg. 18.1, and other relevant parameters of the MQWMA, Employment Act and SOPs etc.
Regularly follows Production Schedules in line with the instructions issued out by the immediate supervisor.
Knowledge of the organization’s definition of confidential information and urging subordinate employees to comply
Overall motivation of staff to enhance individual performance and contributing meaningfully to organizational excellence.
Knowledge and understanding of production programs prior to execution, plans and organising utilisation of relevant resources.
Knowledge of communication channels, with a focus on best reporting techniques and data integrity
Application of change strategy, policies, procedures and ensuring availability of relevant resources.
Regular preparations of floors and other associated areas.
Understanding of SHE Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).
Requirements
Diploma in Mining or related and Blasting Licence.
At least 3 years’ work experience.
A valid Class B driver’s license
Knowledge of opencast and earthmoving machines
Safety oriented and output driven
Written and verbal communication skills is an essential condition and be able to communicate at all levels.
Must have sober habits
