Key Responsibilities
Undertake disease surveillance, prepare and submit samples to Botswana National Veterinary Laboratory.
Keep all records of activities in the extension area.
Implement BAITS regulations through undertaking arrivals and audits to ensure market compliance to EU requirements.
Registration of communal holdings and ensure market compliance.
Ensure that farmers tag their Animals and input in the system.
Attend clinical cases and advice farmers on animal health and welfare matters (farmer trainings).
Undertake any other related duties assigned by the supervisor to meet exigency of the service.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Health or Animal Science or its equivalent.
Diploma in Animal Health and Production or its equivalent.
