Applications are invited from highly self-driven and well experienced individuals for the position of Tribal Administrator tenable at various District Offices in the Department of Tribal Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Degree in Public Administration/Human Resource or related field
 
 
EXPERIENCE:
 
Ten (10) years relevant work experience two of which should have been served at D3 as Chief Administration Officer I – HR & Administration or Chief Personnel Officer I.
 
 
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
 

To facilitate Dikgosi in the management of Tribal matters in order to promote Local Governance, Nation Building and dispensation of Justice.
Coordinate activities for the maintenance of order and social harmony within the Tribal area.
Plans, direct and coordinate information sharing on tribal issues to the community and matters related to development within the Tribal area.
Provide administrative guidance to Customary Courts Presiding Officers on matters relating to Government and Customary laws.
Advise and guide management at all cultural and traditional events at various Kgotlas, Bojale, Dikgafela related activities.
Coordinate and supervise the Customary Court Act and Bogosi Act.
Coordinate and supervise the function of tribal offices which are of jurisdiction and classified under their leadership in accordance with Tribal Administration matters.
Scrutinize investigation reports on disputes regarding Tribal Administration matters.
Scrutinize investigation reports on disputes sent to Customary Courts of Appeal.
Supervise activities of the District Budget and monitor its implementation.
Manage investigation of audit queries and responses to relevant officers.
Coordinate the Human Resource functions within the district.
Undertakes any other related duties as may be assigned by Management.
