    Job Description
    The PSS Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination of comprehensive care, including the provision of psychosocial support for participants enrolled in the SSI programs in the district and their families.

    Key Responsibilities
    Coordinate and schedule psychosocial services (case planning, therapeutic groups, team meetings)
    Lead staff in delivering group services that meet client needs
    Oversee case management, documentation, and evidence-based service implementation
    Manage team workload, planning, and division of responsibilities
    Provide technical guidance on complex cases and referrals
    Track and monitor performance across intervention areas
    Supervise and direct service-delivery staff
    Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
    Investigate child abuse/neglect cases and take protective action as needed
    Ensure district targets are achieved
    Conduct spot checks and collaborate across departments
    Document and ensure quality use of M&E tools
    Develop quarterly department reports
    Analyze data to enhance quality outcomes
    Monitor implementation fidelity and relevance
    Disseminate performance reports to stakeholders
    Present at relevant forums and platforms
    Serve as contact for inter-departmental linkages and district partnerships

    Requirements

    Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Community development or related fields with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
    Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Community development or related with a minimum of 4 years experience working with children and youth
    Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, to interact with all levels of society,
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Proven willingness to work closely with donors, stakeholders and the business community
    Ability to interact with people from various cultures and backgrounds

    Leadership Program Officer is responsible for the implementation of the leadership program, comprising leadership skills development, career development, financial literacy, and business and ICT, as well as mentorship and tutoring.

    Key Responsibilities
    Plan and implement leadership skills program (leadership skills development, career development, financial literacy, business, ICT).
    Facilitate leadership sessions for the participants in line with the curriculum
    Provide mentoring to program participants
    Refer participants for one-on-one counselling as needed
    Monitor progress of youth in the program in the four core areas (Leadership, Career, Financial Literacy and ICT)
    Implementation and program monitoring
    Preparation of the monthly and quarterly reports
    Develop and implement innovative ideas to market the leadership program
    Assist in the mentorship/coaching interventions for youth
    Garner access for youth to participate in activities outside the centre to practice communication skills

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences [business, education, youth development] or related field
    2 years of relevant experience
    Advanced facilitation skills for both groups and individuals
    Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to deal with numerous priorities concurrently.
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Fluent in both Setswana and English

    Leadership & Team Management
    Lead and develop high-performing, diverse team

    Program Implementation
    Oversee all district HIV interventions (PrEP/PEP, testing, ART adherence, support groups)
    Develop work plans and strategies to meet targets
    Provide technical program support and quality assurance
    Budget & Operations
    Manage program budgets, timelines, and donor deliverables
    Ensure strategic alignment with SSI’s objectives
    Organize external communications and information dissemination
    Monitoring & Reporting
    Review M&E data weekly/monthly to identify gaps and optimize retention
    Prepare quarterly and annual reports for donors/stakeholders
    Conduct quality assurance visits and session observations
    Support SSI’s M&E systems and research initiatives
    Stakeholder Engagement
    Manage relationships with government, donors, and civil society partners
    Participate in technical advisory committees

    Requirements

    Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field
    Experience:
    Minimum 5 years managing public health programs
    At least 3 years in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment
    Experience with PEPFAR or other major donors preferred
    Experience with Ministry of Health/Local Government
    Skills:
    Proven stakeholder management ability
    Strong cross-cultural communication
    Results-oriented with donor-relations experience
