Introduction:

\nA vacancy exists for a Physiotherapist for Life Gaborone Private Hospital Physiotherapy Unit. The position reports to the Physiotherapy Manager. The unit offers comprehensive therapeutic services for both in and out of the hospital therapy for patients at large as the services demand.
\nCritical Outputs:
\n. Good clinical assessment and therapeutic skills in treatment of adult and pediatric patients for both in and out patients.
\n. High attention to clinical skills in neurology, orthopaedic and cardiothoracic
\n. Good experience and competence in ICU and high-care.
\n. Assess patients in rehabilitating physical problems caused by illness, injury, disability or aging, through treatment. The responsibilities of Physiotherapists include planning treatments, reviewing recovery, and conducting therapeutic exercises with patients.

\nRequirements:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n. A degree in Physiotherapy.
\n. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy in a hospital setting.
\n. Compassionate and implementation of new technologies are required.
\n. Able to effectively work in a large multidisciplinary team of physicians, medical practitioners, nurses, therapists and clinical support staff.
\n. Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role-players including understanding of relevant legislation.
\n. Computer proficiency.
