\nMAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
To coordinate the development and implementation of strategies for Shared Digital Services of the Government of Botswana policies, legislation and standards.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Monitors development of core infrastructure and services, and implementation of policies, legislation, standards and strategies for shared digital services.<\/p>\n
Provides guidance in the implementation of National Digitalization policy, legislation and strategy.<\/p>\n
Monitors compliance to policies, legislation, standards and strategies for shared digital services management function.<\/p>\n
Represents digital policy implementation for various stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Identifies gaps and recommends interventions to shared digital services.<\/p>\n
Identifies legislative and regulatory frameworks and reviews shared digital services management function.<\/p>\n
Engages with stakeholders, collaborations and partnerships on shared digital services policies, legislation and strategies.<\/p>\n
Monitors and evaluates frameworks for the shared digital services management function.<\/p>\n
Monitors provision of digital services across the Government to facilitate national digital transformation.<\/p>\n
Provides guidance in the design and development of National Enterprise Architecture to guide business digitalization across the economy.<\/p>\n
Establishes and reviews Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers.<\/p>\n
Monitors development and maintenance of Operations Level Agreements (OLAs) with customers.<\/p>\n
Develops systems that manages and analyses customer interactions and data throughout the customer service cycle.<\/p>\n
Monitors development and integration of technologies to provide adequate hosting solutions for all Government system.<\/p>\n
Monitors the development and maintenance of technologies to provide networking and cyber security for digital services.<\/p>\n
Monitors the development of technologies to store, process and disseminate data across all Government departments.<\/p>\n
Monitors compliance and adherence to government regulations and standards.<\/p>\n
Monitors risks and ensures that risks are addressed to address audit queries.<\/p>\n
Develops and implements business continuity plans and manages risks in accordance with the performance management system.<\/p>\n
Provides professional guidance, coaching and mentoring to staff.<\/p>\n
Manages conduct of staff performance and enforces implementation of Public Service disciplinary code, including addressing employee misconduct in line with labour legislation, laid down disciplinary policy and procedures.<\/p>\n

\nQUALIFICATIONS:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
A Bachelor\u2019s degree or above in Information Communication Technology or Computer Engineering or a related field.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nEXPERIENCE:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
A minimum of Fourteen (14) years\u2019 relevant work experience in ICT or related field of which two (2) years should have served as Chief Systems Analyst \u2013 D1 salary scale or equivalent.
\n\u00a0
