Qualifications:

BSc in Mechanical Engineering\/ BMechEng or equivalent.
\nExperience: At least four (4) years\u2019 work experience, two (2) of which should have been served as Senior Mechanical Engineer at D4 salary scale or equivalent level in the private sector.<\/p>\n

\nJob Purpose:

Manage, control and coordinate Mechanical projects in the Botswana Defence Force.
\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:
\nConduct in-depth analysis of design performance for proposed and developed structures using various methods to ensure adherence to standards.
\nProvide professional advice with regards to mechanical works to ensure operational efficiency.
\nLiaise with other professionals in the development of comprehensive designs for BDF building projects.
\nLiaise with all technical staff within the BDF for effective service delivery.
\nFacilitate skills development for mechanical engineering branch to ensure achievement of performance goals.
\nEnsure that Performance Management and Quality Improvement programs are designed and implemented in a manner that aligns with the overall strategy.
\nManage the implementation of performance management system to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
