Responsible for providing business reporting, analysis, and insights through the design, implementation, and management of organisation-wide business big data systems.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, ingest, transform, and analyse data to uncover insights for business decision-making.<\/p>\n
Main Duties (include but are not limited to):
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Designing, implementing, and maintaining Big Data solutions, and ensuring compliance with the data protection act and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Designing and automating pipelines in support of data and analytics projects, including integrating new data sources into the data lake\/warehouse.<\/p>\n
Designing, implementing, and managing databases to ensure high availability and data integrity.<\/p>\n
Leading and coordinating all business intelligence-related projects and ensuring compliance with data integrity standards.<\/p>\n
Working closely with internal business and technical stakeholders to ensure objectives, priorities, and key requirements are understood and agreed upon.<\/p>\n
Effectively communicating data trends, inconsistencies, and unavailability to executive management.<\/p>\n
Ensuring timely delivery of business reports and data accuracy.<\/p>\n

Excellent knowledge of data management technologies and scripting languages (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).<\/p>\n
Knowledge of IT programming (SQL, MySQL, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).<\/p>\n
Good leadership and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications and Experience
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Academic level: Degree in Computer Engineering \/ Computer Science \/ Information Systems \/ Business Intelligence \/ Data Analytics and Science.<\/p>\n
Professional certification in relevant big data technologies and data analysis will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
A Master\u2019s Degree would be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Minimum experience: A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a data analytics environment with emphasis in Business Intelligence \/ Data Analytics \/ Big Data.<\/p>\n
