Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Count drawer cash at the beginning and end of shift, and perform reconciliation to ensure balances are accurate.<\/p>\n
Receive deposits or payments (e.g. cash, cheques, card transactions) from customers in line with organisational procedures.<\/p>\n
Process customer withdrawals according to approved processes and guidelines.<\/p>\n
Cash cheques for customers in accordance with bank policy.<\/p>\n
Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts and transactions.<\/p>\n
Prepare specialised funds such as savings bonds, traveller\u2019s cheques, and money orders.<\/p>\n
Conduct foreign currency exchange transactions.<\/p>\n
Place customer orders for cheque books and bank cards.<\/p>\n
Accurately record all transactions in line with organisational policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Promote and sell bank products and services according to bank sales guidelines.<\/p>\n
Maintain adequate stock of counter items and office supplies to ensure smooth service delivery.<\/p>\n
Reconcile daily cash deposits and withdrawals and ensure alignment with the bank\u2019s statements and account records.<\/p>\n
Uphold customer confidentiality and data privacy at all times.<\/p>\n
Comply with bank operations and security procedures including dual-control functions, audits, and teller certifications.<\/p>\n
Undertake any other related duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.<\/p>\n
