Roles and Responsibilities

Development of annual risk-based internal audit plans and executing all stages of the internal audit engagements (both assurance and consulting).
\nPlanning internal audit assignments including preparation of audit work programs.
\nPlanning and execution of other compliance reviews such as AML compliance reviews.
\nConducting interviews to collect field work through interactions to understand the audit processes, identifying and documenting key risks and controls, performing and documenting walkthrough tests and detailed tests of controls.
\nIdentifying control deficiencies and ineffective operation of controls, including other areas of process improvement.
\nDrafting and discussing internal audit reports with the Director \u2013 ERS.
\nConducting ad hoc investigations into suspected fraud incidences.
\nFollowing up the implementation of agreed action plans on reported audit other issues.
\nPerforming any other duties as assigned by the Director \u2013 ERS.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications

A degree in Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk Management or other related business field
\nCIA certification<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nExperience
\n\u00a0
\nAt least 3 years of experience in an internal audit environment
\n\u2013

\nResponsibilities
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lead and manage financial audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring all phases are executed effectively and in a timely manner.
\nOversee the execution of audit fieldwork, ensuring that audits are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards.
\nReview work performed by audit staff and senior auditors to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to audit methodology.
\nSupervise and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance on technical issues and supporting their professional development.
\nEnsure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients during audit engagements, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns.
\nStay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, sharing this with the team and adapting audit processes accordingly.
\nProvide technical expertise and support to clients on complex financial issues, offering recommendations to enhance financial reporting accuracy.<\/p>\n

\nA bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.<\/p>\n
