\nQUALIFICATION:

\n\u00a0
\nApplicants should have: (i) a PhD in Sociology or related fields. N.B.: a relevant Master\u2019s Degree in Sociology with a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Sociology of at least 2.1 pass\/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances.
\nUNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Lecturer Added advantage.

\n\u00a0
\nDuties:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nThe candidate should be able to: i) teach Sociological Theory and Research Methods at undergraduate and graduate level; ii) be able to develop and offer courses in at least two of the following areas: various areas of Sociological theory (Classical sociological theory; Contemporary Sociological Theory; Philosophy of Science; Applied Methodology; African Social Thought; Social Movements and Activism, and Medical Sociology). iii) be able to supervise undergraduate and graduate student research projects.
