\nPurpose of the Job:

\n\u00a0
\nReporting to the Chief Property Officer, The Intern- Business Intelligence Analytics will gather, analyse, and compile
\ndata needed to identify trends and patterns, then make recommendations for business actions.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
\n\u2022 Assesses market strategies by analysing related products, markets, or trends.
\n\u2022 Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
\n\u2022 Identifies markets for future product development and methods to improve sales of existing products by analysing technology trends.
\n\u2022 Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
\n\u2022 Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
\n\u2022 Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
\n\u2022 Performs other related duties as assigned.

\nQualification
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nBSc in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nExperience
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nA minimum of 6 months experience in finance or data analytics role.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nTechnical Competencies
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
\n\u2022 Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
\n\u2022 Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Excellent ability to analyse information and think systematically.
\n\u2022 Strong business analysis skills.
\n\u2022 Works well independently and as part of a team.
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of the company\u2019s business processes and the industry at large.
\n\u2022 Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.<\/p>\n
