ACCOUNTS INTERN \u2013 6 MONTHS CONTRACT

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n* Assist in the maintenance of financial records, including balance sheets and income statements.
\n* Prepare invoices for clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
\n* Assist in processing supplier invoices and verifying their accuracy.
\n* Record payments and receipts in the accounting system.
\n* Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
\n* Assist in reconciling daily expenses related to events, bar, cafeteria, and catering operations.
\n* Assist in preparing budgets for events and service operations.
\n* Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents, receipts, and invoices.
\n* Assist in preparing documents required for internal and external audits, helping with discrepancies, if any.
\n* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
\n* Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Finance Department.
\n* Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.
\n* Assist with ad hoc financial tasks as directed by the Finance Officer.

\nREQUIREMENTS
\n\u00a0
\n* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n* Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
\n* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE) and Microsoft Excel.
\n* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
\n* Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible working environment
\n* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
\n* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
\n* Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n
