About the Role This is a key leadership role focused on nurturing a positive, respectful, and safe school environment. The Deputy Principal (Pastoral Care & Discipline) will be responsible for overseeing student welfare, behaviour management, and supporting a holistic approach to student development across all levels.

\nKey Responsibilities

\n\u2022 Lead and manage the pastoral care and wellbeing programs across the school.
\n\u2022 Promote a culture of respect, discipline, inclusivity, and positive behaviour.
\n\u2022 Develop and implement student welfare and discipline policies in alignment with the school\u2019s values. \u2022 Provide support and guidance to staff in managing student behaviour and pastoral concerns.
\n\u2022 Liaise with parents, counsellors, and external agencies when required. \u2022 Support the Principal in overall school leadership and serve as a key member of the senior management team. \u2022 Promote restorative practices and a proactive approach to student engagement and discipline. Key Requirements
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in related field \/ education (Master\u2019s Degree or postgraduate leadership qualification preferred)
\n. \u2022 Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with demonstrated leadership in pastoral care or student discipline.
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive issues with empathy and authority.
\n\u2022 Proven experience in leading student wellbeing initiatives and managing complex behavioural matters.
