\nINVESTMENT ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR (FOREIGN OPERATIONS)

\n\u00a0
\n(a) Main purpose of the job
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nTo supervise and control the day-to-day activities of the Foreign Operations Section and maintain accurate and timely accounting records for the Bank\u2019s internally managed investment portfolios, being foreign exchange reserves and International Monetary Fund (IMF) assets.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n(b) Key Responsibilities
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Supervise and control the day-to-day activities of the Section;
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for the Bank\u2019s internally managed investment portfolios, being foreign exchange reserves and International Monetary Fund (IMF) assets;
\n\u2022 Ensure that journals entries for the externally managed portfolio are captured into the investment accounting system timely;
\n\u2022 Undertake the interest accrual and mark-to-market runs and ensure that sub-modules of the investment accounting system posts to the General Ledger;
\n\u2022 Perform period end closure procedures in the system and timely prepare Sectional accounts, financial reports and statements relating to foreign investments; and
\n\u2022 Reconciliation of Investment Control Accounts.
\n(c) Job Requirements
\nMaster\u2019s degree in Accounting, Commerce or related area
\nOR
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting degree plus at least two years relevant post qualification experience, in a financial accounting practice or in a medium to large scale financial or industrial organisation
\nOR
\nProfessional qualification such as BICA \/ ACCA \/ CIMA \/ ACA \/ CPA. BICA membership is required.
\n\u00a0
