The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring the quality standards of all security services, ensuring adherence to regional standards.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nKey Performance Areas<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nEffective management of the business unit\u2019s financial performance<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage relationships between actual results, budgets and forecasts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Initiate cost saving through controls.<br \/>\n\u2022 Gross Margin Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure Labour Efficiency according to standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure Overheads control according to standards.<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieve Contract profitability according to targets.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prevent claims through regular customer risk assessments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieve existing Revenue Growth.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage escalation to completion.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDeliver a superior, market leading service to customers through robust execution of services through existing regional operational structures resulting in high levels of customer retention.*<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nCustomer Focus<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Review current retention of customers and strategy around increase in customer satisfaction.<br \/>\n\u2022 Review the proportion \/ % of contracts lost and identify critical areas.<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop customer retention strategy.<br \/>\n\u2022 Build a culture of customer awareness and service across the business, to ensure individuals are equipped to make the right decisions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Actively build networks and influence with relevant decision makers in Government and law enforcement authorities, ensuring that the company has an appropriate profile in the market.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nQuality of Service :<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Quality Audit rating, review correction plan in place and implementation plan.<br \/>\n\u2022 Review management information systems and develop strategy and correction initiatives.<br \/>\n*Shared Best Practice :*<br \/>\n\u2022 Specific examples of implementation of BP from other countries, business<br \/>\n*Effective leadership, development and management of staff.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n*Effective Organisation:<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Target and develop effective operational organisational structures.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct and review six monthly appraisals, training needs analysis and schedule.<br \/>\n\u2022 Staff turnover analysis, reduction of staff turnover and implementation of initiatives around best people.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n*Staff Development :<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Determine if succession planning is in place, updated and practiced.<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop a high performing team with a mix of technical expertise and operational awareness.<br \/>\n\u2022 Build effective internal relationships to ensure an appropriate balance of business performance.<br \/>\n\u2022 Review, audit and recommend changes around compliance and non compliance matters within the business.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nNew Business Development<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u2022 Identifying new business opportunities in Botswana, as well as in terms of growth of business with existing customers, driven by the promotion of integrated security solutions.<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the competitor environment faced by Botswana.<br \/>\n\u2022 Involvement in community and business forums and general public profile.<br \/>\n*Implementation and integration of the HSSEC strategy and culture within the region<br \/>\n\u2022 Embed health and safety awareness and responsible behavior across the operations team, through consistent focus on health and safety compliance and discipline.<br \/>\n\u2022 Drive health and safety awareness down to supervisory level through communication, enforcement of guidelines and principles, monitoring and training.<br \/>\n\u2022 Highlight health and safety examples, both good and bad, to reinforce the message and drive to achieve zero harm within our business.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor and reduce the number of health and safety incidents.<br \/>\n\u2022 Oversee investigations into incidents and related matters, both to address non-compliance and to reinforce awareness.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n*Minimum Qualifications &amp;
