\nProfessor in Political Science (contract position) *REF: Vacancy No. IRC 2830

\nREQUIREMENTS: applicants should have: (i) a PhD in Political Science or related discipline; (ii) research collaboration with cognate disciplines in the University; (iii) external examiner for Masters and\/or PhD theses internationally.
\n\u00a0
\nUNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: 9 years.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nDuties:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nThe successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses; (ii) teach at least three of the following: International Relations; Security Studies; Analysis of National Security Policies; Foreign Policy Analysis; Communications in the Military; Diplomacy and Statecraft; and Research Methods and Computer Applications; (iii) perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
\nb) Department of Psychology
\nProfessor in Psychology (3 year contract) *REF: Vacancy No. IRC 2831

\nREQUIREMENTS:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nApplicants should have\/be: i) a PhD in Psychology with specialisation in Health Psychology or related field; ii) (i) research awards and other forms of research recognition, where appropriate will be an added advantage.
\nUNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: 9 years.

\n\u00a0
\nThe successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach post-graduate and undergraduate level courses in Psychology; (ii) supervise post graduate and undergraduate student\u2019s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in the academic, governance and social engagement in Psychology or related field; (iv) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department<\/p>\n
