FACULTY OF EDUCATION<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDepartment of Educational Foundations<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nLecturer in Counselling and Human Services (Contract Position) *REF: Vacancy No. IRC 2828<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nREQUIREMENTS:<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\napplicants should have: (i) PhD in any of the following areas: Counsellor Education and Supervision, Counselling and Human Services, Guidance and Counselling, Mental Health Counselling, School Counselling, Counselling Psychology, and Marriage and Family Counselling. N.B. Counselling and Human Service or a related field with a Master\u2019s degree in Counselling and Human Service, Guidance and Counselling or related field with a relevant Bachelor\u2019s degree or cognate field with at least 20 pass or equivalent may be considered under special circumstances<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nUNIVERSITY TEACHING EXPERIENCE OR EQUIVALENT: Added advantage.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nDuties:<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe successful candidate will be expected to:(i) teach counsellor education courses, participate in clinical counselling supervision, practicum and internship supervision.
