\nSefalana Holding Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of: GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY
\nReporting to the Group Finance Director and Board, the principal place of office will be in Gaborone.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nKEY TASKS
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Providing the Group with up-to-date advice on Corporate Governance and best practice;
\n\u2022 Ensuring all matters of compliance with regulatory bodies such as the Botswana Stock Exchange, Companies and Intellectual Property Authority etc;
\n\u2022 Assisting with the preparation of Board packs and circulating in advance of Board meetings;
\n\u2022 Attending Board meetings, taking minutes and capturing matter arising;
\n\u2022 Preparation and attendance of Annual General Meetings;
\n\u2022 Providing legal advice on contracts and other related matters
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Must have at least three years of experience in the company secretarial field including company set ups.
\n\u2022 Experience in a Listed company \/ Group is an advantage.
\n\u2022 Must either be:
\n\u2013 A member of the Southern African Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (CIS); or
\n\u2013 A member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA); or
\n\u2013 A qualified Auditor; or
\n\u2013 A legal practitioner.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
