\nResponsibilities
\n\u00a0
\nHydraulic Specialist\u2019s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems of all designs.
\n\u2022 Understand electronic systems that control the hydraulic system.
\n\u2022 Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
\n\u2022 Be able to modify and upgrade systems on tipper trucks, cranes, earth moving equipment and refuse trucks.
\n\u2022 Test hydraulic systems after repairs are carried out under load conditions.
\n\u2022 Fabricate hydraulic components to fit trucks.
\n\u2022 Inspect hydraulic systems to identify faults, leaks or malfunctions.
\n\u2022 Repair and replace defective components such as power take off units, pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses and fittings.
\n\u2022 Calibrate hydraulic pressures for optimal performance.
\n\u2022 Have good brazing and welding skills. Confident in understanding, testing & diagnosing all electrical systems in all the vehicles.

\nRequirements and skills
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 A certificate or Diploma in Auto Hydraulics from an accredited institution.
\n\u2022 A minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in hydraulic systems with reputable companies.
\n\u2022 Class B driver\u2019s license (EC drivers\u2019 license is an added advantage).
\n\u2022 Outstanding driving and mechanics skills.
\n\u2022 Diligent with great attention to detail
\n\u2022 Interpersonal skills
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills.
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
