\nMain Purpose of the Job

\n\u2022 Picking of stock as per the picking slip request.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nDuties and Responsibilities:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Picking of stock as per the picking slip request.
\n\u2022 Picking must be accurate in quantity and in nature of the good.
\n\u2022 Do not pick damaged stock, mark as damaged and notify the Warehouse Supervisor.
\n\u2022 Pick and Pack stock correctly as per picking slip.
\n\u2022 Verify (second check) fellow assistant has picked the correct items and quantity should you be required to work in the dispatch area.
\n\u2022 Update stock cards (Bin Cards) correctly (as per the quantity of item issued or received) and timeously.
\n\u2022 These should be done neatly and legible.
\n\u2022 Notify Warehouse Supervisors of all shortages (or any other variance) immediately.
\n\u2022 When required to assist in receiving of stock ensure quality, quantity and all information documentation from suppliers is correct.
\n\u2022 Assist with weekly stock counts and ensure this is done accurately and timeously.
\n\u2022 Assist with verifying monthly stock takes and ensure this is done accurately and timeously.
\n\u2022 Ensure accuracy of stock being received or dispatched to ensure zero variances.

\nMinimum Requirements
\n\u00a0

\n\u2022 Matric
\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year warehousing experience preferable
\n\u2022 Basic computer literacy
\n\u2022 Basic warehouse experience
\n\u2022 Intermediate numeracy
\n\u2022 Intermediate literacy
\n\u2022 Physical strength
\n\u2022 Communication skills
\n\u2022 Ability to adhere to processes
\n\u2022 Attention to detail

\n\u2022 Conduct detailed product evaluations for new and existing products to analyse product quality.
\n\u2022 Provide comprehensive technical reports in response to customer queries regarding product repairs and serve as a customer. liaison for quality and technical-related issues.
\n\u2022 Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a wide range of appliances.
\n\u2022 Meet daily repair targets as set by management.
\n\u2022 Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
\n\u2022 Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
\n\u2022 Provide feedback on recurring issues and possible improvements.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nMinimum Requirements:

\n\u2022 N4 to N6 in Electrical
\n\u2022 N4 to N6 in Electronic Engineering
\n\u2022 Recognized Electronics Certificate
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nRequired Characteristics:
\n\u00a0
\n\u2022 Previous experience in appliance repair or a related field is advantageous.
\n\u2022 Good understanding of electronic components and fault diagnosis
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity targets.
\n\u2022 Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
\n\u2022 Communication skills and a team-player attitude
\n\u2022 Communication with customers.
