\n Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Intern to support the execution of the Corporation\u2019s marketing, branding, and communication initiatives. The role offers early-career exposure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment where finance meets impact \u2013 helping tell Africa\u2019s infrastructure transformation story. The successful candidate will assist in content creation, digital marketing, event coordination, and research activities, contributing to AFC\u2019s visibility and reputation as Africa\u2019s leading multilateral development finance institution.

\nPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Digital Marketing & Content Support: Assist in managing AFC\u2019s social media platforms, update AFC\u2019s website and digital platforms.<\/p>\n
Events Support: Assist in the planning and coordination of AFC events, sponsorships, and marketing campaigns. Support the preparation of marketing materials. Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.<\/p>\n
Communications & Media Support: Draft and edit communication materials. Maintain media and stakeholder databases. Assist in developing content for AFC\u2019s internal communications platforms.<\/p>\n
Administrative & Team Support: Coordinate meeting logistics, draft minutes, and manage documentation. Support procurement processes.<\/p>\n

\nEducation: University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or the humanities from an accredited university.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nExperience and Competencies:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
While extensive experience is not required as this is a good developmental opportunity, work experience in communications, marketing or related fields is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.<\/p>\n
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines simultaneously.<\/p>\n
Exceptional writing skills.<\/p>\n
