\nPHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION TEACHER
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nWestwood International School is seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and passionate Physical and Health Education teacher. They will be responsible for planning and delivering an engaging Physical Education curriculum. The successful candidate will collaborate with their colleagues to establish interdisciplinary connections between subjects to provide a holistic learning experience for students. In addition, they will contribute to extracurricular activities, sports competitions and excursions to enhance the overall student experience and support a well-rounded education.

\nQualifications & Experience
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Education or a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Sports\/Sports Science with postgraduate studies in Education.<\/p>\n
At least four years of experience teaching Physical and Health Education<\/p>\n
Competent swimmer required to teach students stroke development during swimming lessons<\/p>\n
Water Safety and Rescue Training Course<\/p>\n

\nDesirable Qualifications & Experience
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience teaching both the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes<\/p>\n
Ability to teach another subject<\/p>\n
Ability to coach multiple sports disciplines.<\/p>\n
Current First Aid and CPR certification.<\/p>\n
Working knowledge of Managebac is an added advantage<\/p>\n

Deep understanding of and passion for the subject area being taught.<\/p>\n
Proficiency in planning, delivering, and reflecting on an engaging inquiry-based curriculum that fosters student motivation and agency.<\/p>\n
Skilled in integrating technology tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.<\/p>\n
Embraces student diversity and possesses the skills to differentiate instruction to address the individual needs of learners.<\/p>\n
In line with international standards relating to Child Protection, Westwood International School requires all recruited staff members to adhere to the highest child protection and safeguarding standards.
