\nConcrete 4 U (Pty) Ltd is a citizen owned company incorporated in accordance to the company\u2019s act of Botswana. Concrete 4 U (Pty) Ltd is currently looking for a suitable qualified candidate to fill the position of Concrete Batching Plant Manager.

\nThe successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Plan, lead, direct, coordinate and control all activities of the Batching Plant.<\/p>\n
Ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance and maintain a safe working environment.<\/p>\n
Batch concrete loads according to clients\u2019 specifications.<\/p>\n
Be responsible for efficient and safe working condition of the batching plant equipment and Employees.<\/p>\n
Order raw materials for daily production.<\/p>\n
Coordinate, receipts and manage inbound deliveries of raw materials.<\/p>\n
Maintain time and material records.<\/p>\n
Conduct quality control testing on concrete mixes. Understand appropriate uses of various mix designs.<\/p>\n
Schedule mixer trucks to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency while meeting the needs and expectations of customers<\/p>\n
Monitor mixer truck status on a constant basis to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum equipment and labor utilization.<\/p>\n
Other duties as assigned, from time to time.<\/p>\n

\nSKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Diploma in Concrete Technology.<\/p>\n
A minimum of 10 years working experience in the field of reinforced concrete.<\/p>\n
Knowledge on concrete technology.<\/p>\n
Ability to motivate and manage staff.<\/p>\n
Need to be an excellent communicator with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
Commitment to safety.<\/p>\n
Ability to derive high level cost estimates<\/p>\n
Ability to identify and carry out risk analyses<\/p>\n
Good financial acumen<\/p>\n
Ability to control projects from start to finish<\/p>\n
High level of organizational and time management skills<\/p>\n
