\nWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Underwriter to join our credit and risk team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financing requests, assessing creditworthiness, analyzing purchase orders, and ensuring sound underwriting practices that align with company risk policies.

\n\u00a0
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Review and assess purchase order financing applications from businesses and suppliers.<\/p>\n
Analyze client financials, supplier contracts, and purchase order terms to determine eligibility and risk exposure.<\/p>\n
Conduct due diligence on clients, buyers, and suppliers. Recommend appropriate loan structures, terms, and credit limits.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with internal underwriting policies and external regulations.<\/p>\n
Prepare and present credit memos with clear risk assessments and recommendations.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth deal processing.<\/p>\n
Continuously monitor portfolio performance and provide input for risk mitigation strategies.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Requirements:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field.<\/p>\n
Minimum 2 years of experience in loan underwriting, credit risk, or trade finance (purchase order financing experience preferred.<\/p>\n
Strong analytical and financial statement analysis skills.<\/p>\n
Deep understanding of credit principles, risk assessment, and deal structuring.<\/p>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
High attention to detail, integrity, and sound judgment.<\/p>\n
