\nREPORTS TO: IT Infrastructure Manager
\n\u00a0
\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Install, configure and maintain BTC\u2019s Windows servers and core infrastructure applications to ensure secure and reliable operations.<\/p>\n
Develop and enforce policies that protect systems against data breaches, downtime and ensure disaster recovery readiness.<\/p>\n
Plan, analyse, test and implement system upgrades or new releases while minimising service disruptions.<\/p>\n
Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity and compliance with IT governance.<\/p>\n
Monitor vendor contracts and escalate technical issues for resolution in line with service agreements.<\/p>\n

\nQUALIFICATION
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent.<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nEXPERIENCE
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5 years in IT system administration.<\/p>\n
Experience in ITIL-compliant environments and project management methodologies.<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nLEGAL CERTIFICATION\/PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Membership of a relevant transport\/logistics body will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
