\nREPORTS TO: Head of Financial Reporting Planning and Analysis

\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Provide professional input into the development of finance policies that enhance shareholder value.<\/p>\n
Manage BTC\u2019s statutory financial accounting and reporting to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n
Lead the statutory financial accounting and reporting team in alignment with corporate goals and performance metrics.<\/p>\n
Ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements and manage the annual external audit process.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial standards, conventions, and accounting policies.<\/p>\n
Utilise appropriate metrics to monitor performance and implement corrective action as needed.<\/p>\n

\nQUALIFICATION
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Degree in Financial Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n
Full professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA).<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nEXPERIENCE
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Minimum of 6 years\u2019 professional experience in financial accounting.<\/p>\n
Minimum of 2 years\u2019 managerial experience in financial management within a corporate or turn around environment.<\/p>\n
\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nLEGAL CERTIFICATION\/PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
BICA compliant.<\/p>\n
CIMA\/ACCA qualified.<\/p>\n
Membership of a relevant professional association will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
