\nJob Opportunity: Materials\/Geotechnical Engineers x2

\nPosition Overview:
\n\u00a0
\nWe seek qualified and experienced Materials\/Geotechnical Engineers to join our engineering team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising geotechnical investigations, overseeing materials testing, and providing technical input on foundation design and soil stabilization for major infrastructure projects. The role requires results-oriented professionals with strong analytical and reporting skills.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Conduct and supervise geotechnical investigations and material testing for civil engineering projects.<\/p>\n
Interpret laboratory and field test results to provide design recommendations and technical guidance.<\/p>\n
Prepare geotechnical and materials reports in accordance with project and client requirements.<\/p>\n
Monitor and ensure quality control of construction materials, including soils, concrete, and aggregates.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.<\/p>\n
Provide technical advice on ground improvement methods, foundation systems, and slope stability.<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality management standards across all works.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.<\/p>\n
Experience: Minimum of 15 years\u2019 experience in materials testing, geotechnical investigations, and construction quality control.<\/p>\n
Experience in projects involving earthworks, foundations to structures, and pavement materials will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
Membership or eligibility for registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB), Botswana, or similar is desirable.<\/p>\n
Strong report-writing, analytical, and communication skills.<\/p>\n
