\nTKM ENGINEERING, A LOCAL BUILDING AND CIVIL ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR is looking to employ a suitably qualified and experienced persons for the positions below:

\nHEAVY PLANT MECHANIC
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nHEAVY PLANT MECHANIC reporting directly to the PROCUREMENT, ASSETS AND LOGISTICS MANAGER.
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0
\nQualifications and requirements
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cambridge \/ \u2018O\u2019 Level Certificate or related.<\/p>\n
National Craft Certificate in Heavy Plant Mechanics or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n
Valid Driver\u2019s License.<\/p>\n
Five (5) years experience in heavy duty Mechanics in Construction, Mining Industry.<\/p>\n
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/p>\n
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.<\/p>\n

\nResponsibilities
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Diagnoses vehicles defects and determines repairs required.<\/p>\n
Undertake routine inspections of engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical system, tyres, and frames.<\/p>\n
Repairs, Overhauls, maintains and carry out services on various vehicles (e.g. Light Duty Vehicles, Heavy Duty Vehicles and Earth Moving Vehicles)<\/p>\n
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve processes, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes.<\/p>\n
Adhere to Safety Standards and regulations.<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate information, complete necessary documentation, and process according to the established procedure.<\/p>\n
Ability to read and interpret technical maintenance manuals and diagrams.<\/p>\n
