\nThe Advisor Stakeholder and China relations will be responsible for fulfilling MMG\u2019s Chinese Champion strategy, developing a close relationship with MMG\u2019s major shareholders and Chinese background stakeholders, improving the business performance by leveraging Chinese strengths and factors, building and maintaining a positive image for Khoemacau to the Chinese and international stakeholders.

\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n\u00a0
\nYour key accountabilities include:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Presenting a clear liaison between KCM and its major shareholders (CMC, CMN, and CNIC), responsible for information sharing to major shareholders, translation and drafting of promotional materials and news publicity, as well as compilation and drafting of reporting documents.
\nTaking charge of agenda planning, reception arrangements for the senior management of major shareholders and other stakeholders, and coordination with relevant departments.
\nDeveloping close partnership with the Chinese background stakeholders in Botswana, including but not limited to the Chinese Embassy, the Botswana Embassy in Beijing, and Chinese Enterprises Association, etc.
\nAdvising internal teams on Chinese business etiquette, cultural nuances, and best practices for engaging with Chinese stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
\nPreparing senior leadership for China-related meetings, trips, and engagements, including briefing materials and logistical support.
\nProviding Chinese translation service for all KCM reports and documentations.
\nProviding Chinese interpretation service for KCM leadership team where required.<\/p>\n

\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
\n\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher in relevant discipline (e.g., Translation, Journalism and Communications, International relations, Business, or Finance).
\nLanguage skills English (essential), Mandarin (essential).
\nUnderstanding of major shareholders and Chinese background institutions.
\nUnderstanding of mining and KCM operations.
\nKnowledge and experience in cross-cultural communication.
\nUnderstanding of China SOE regulators and administrative institutions<\/p>\n
