Health and Wellness Manager wanted at DTC Botswana<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develops a health and wellness policy and strategy to ensure effective delivery of the company objectives on employee wellness
\nDevelops, designs, and manages the implementation of the Employee Health & Wellness program in line with Company policy
\nProvides counselling services
\nDevelops and manages Service Level Agreements entered into with health and wellness service providers
\nAnalyses health\/behavioural data and initiate (health) risk assessment to assist in programme formulation and evaluation
\nAdvises line management and employees on wellness matters
\nEducates and updates staff on the ART fund
\nCreates structures to facilitate the implementation of wellness programme
\nMaintains health and wellness data to support the HR team in delivering operational excellence
\nDevelops and maintains a Wellness Information Management System database
\nEnsures all health and wellness strategies, policies and procedures are in line with legislative requirements
\nEnsures that there is full compliance with the policies and relevant guidelines
\nManages and coordinates the implementation of safety, health, and environmental programme in area of responsibility.
\nIdentifies and implements creative and innovative ideas to continuously improve and sustain business performance.
\nManages the effectiveness areas of surbodinates by monitoring, reviewing performance and taking remedial action as necessary
\nRecommends and incorporates cost saving initiatives into budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters
\nEstablishes and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders and partners (internal and external) to ensure achievement of business objectives.
\nInitiates, monitors and controls short term sectional projects and ensures attainment of desired results<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Degree in Public Health\/Social Work\/Clinical Psychology\/Health Education and Health Promotion\/Nursing
\nAt least 7 years post qualification experience in coordinating\/administering a health \/wellness promotion program of which two years must have been at middle management level<\/p>\n
