A talented and dynamic candidate is sought by our client in the Telecommunications sector to join their Technical team as an Installer. The successful individual will report to the Planning & Support Manager\u00a0and will be responsible for on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Drilling and mounting of brackets and equipment
\nRadio Installation
\nCabling
\nTower Support and Installation<\/p>\n
Qualification & Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n
BGCSE or equivalent; Associate\u2019s or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
\nProven experience (1-2 years) in a similar role.
\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN\/WAN, Wi-Fi)
\nAbility to read and interpret network diagrams and installation plans
\nKnowledge of fibre splicing, testing tools
\nBasic understanding of network security and safe installation practices<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements:<\/p>\n
Valid drivers licence (advantageous) and willingness to travel to client sites
\nStrong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
\nGood communication skills and customer service orientation
\nAbility to work independently.<\/p>\n
