A talented and dynamic candidate is sought by our client in the Telecommunications sector to join their Network Operations Centre (NOC)\u00a0Support team. This individual will report to the NOC Manager and will be the first point of contact, providing remote technical assistance across all branches, monitoring alarms ,creating tickets and scheduling according to priority .

\nResponsibilities\u00a0& Competencies<\/p>\n
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent
\nDetermine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
\nWalk the customer through the problem-solving process
\nDirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
\nProvide accurate information on IT products or services
\nRecord events, problems and their resolution in logs
\nFollow-up and update customer status and information
\nPass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
\nIdentify and suggest possible improvements in procedures
\nEmail configuration and troubleshooting.
\nImprove system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes where need be.
\nKerio\/Firewall configuration and assistance.
\nDomain registration, renewal & transfer, or delete<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Diploma\/Degree in Information Technology or related
\nAt least 1 year experience as an IT technician, Helpdesk\/IT Call centre or related
\nA strong working knowledge of computer system software
\nGood Problem Solving and team working skills
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nAn openness to learning new technologies<\/p>\n
