G4S (Botswana) Ltd. Role Purpose: The Control Centre\/Room Manager will be responsible for general oversight and management of the national control centre.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Undertake to ensure that activations and requests are dealt with timeously and appropriately, with the necessary escalations taking place.
\nEnsure proper processing of alarm calls from signal receipt to completion
\nEnsure professional and standardized telephonic and radio communication within the NCC
\nEnsure professional and standardized inter-colleague communication within the NCC
\nAllocation and distribution of controller rosters.
\nEfficient administration of control room records and reports
\nDaily, weekly monthly reports to be submitted timeously
\nStaff motivation levels
\nEnsuring that performance assessments of all subordinate employees are conducted, and corrective action implemented where necessary.
\nEnsuring that acceptable standards of behaviour at work are maintained by all subordinate employees, as required by G4S\u2019s code of conduct and disciplinary code.
\nEnsuring that all disciplinary actions are conducted in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
\nParticipate in the design\/ development\/ review\/ implementation and monitoring of the branch\/region\/national safety plans for each year.
\nParticipate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks
\nReport all safety incidents to the relevant people
\nDiscuss all safety incidents on all levels<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
At least 10 years\u2019 experience in security electronics industry, CCTV, access control
\nStrong management skills
\nBusiness acumen<\/p>\n
