The Financial Reporting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank\u2019s financial information. Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and ensure alignment with international reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
\nAs the National Development Bank undergoes a digital transformation journey, this role will also focus on leveraging new technologies to streamline reporting processes. You will collaborate across various departments to provide financial insights that support the bank\u2019s mandate of driving socio-economic transformation and economic diversification in Botswana.

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
\nCoordinate the external audit process and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors.
\nEnsure all statutory and regulatory financial filings are completed accurately and submitted on time.
\nDevelop and maintain internal control frameworks to ensure the integrity of financial data across the organization.
\nSupport digital transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to automate and enhance reporting workflows.
\nProvide technical accounting guidance to management regarding the impact of new reporting standards or business initiatives.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field.
\nFull professional accounting qualification such as BICA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
\nMinimum of 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
\nIn-depth knowledge and practical experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
\nStrong analytical skills with a high proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
\nExperience working with ERP systems and automated financial reporting tools.
\nProven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality reports under pressure.<\/p>\n
