Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develop and execute comprehensive funding strategies to secure capital from domestic and international markets.
\nManage the bank\u2019s investment portfolio, monitoring performance and ensuring alignment with risk appetite and developmental mandates.
\nConduct rigorous due diligence and financial analysis on potential investment opportunities and funding partners.
\nMonitor liquidity levels and optimize the bank\u2019s capital structure to support long-term financial sustainability.
\nProvide strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding market trends, interest rate movements, and investment risks.
\nCollaborate with the Innovation and IT teams to implement digital tools for enhanced investment tracking and reporting.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
\nProfessional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA is highly desirable.
\nMinimum of 6-8 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, or treasury within a financial institution.
\nProven experience in capital raising, debt structuring, and managing relationships with institutional investors.
\nAdvanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment.
\nDeep understanding of the Botswana financial market landscape and relevant regulatory frameworks.
\nStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to navigate complex socio-economic development goals.
\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with domestic and international stakeholders.<\/p>\n
