Responsible for operating a variety of water & waste management vehicles to collect and transport water, waste and recycling materials to disposal or storage facilities.
\nAbility to safely operate mechanism for loading, compressing, and dumping refuse and recyclable materials.
\nAssures that assigned truck is properly fuelled, equipped, lubricated, and serviced
\nWashes interior and exterior of assigned truck and reports needed repairs immediately.
\nMaintain safe and efficient operation of water & waste collection and transport equipment and vehicles.
\nPerform pre-trip\/ post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet for equipment operated.
\nComplete daily work orders efficiently & record information accordingly, and keep work location in order.
\nKnowledge of \u2013 traffic laws involved in equipment operations; safe operations of and safety precautions necessary in operation of equipment, including various types of water & waste collection trucks.
\nAbility to \u2013 communicate effectively orally and in writing; understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, and the public.<\/p>\n

Senior Secondary school completion (BGCSE \/ IGCSE)
\nMinimum of 5 years Extra heavy-duty driving experience with a reputable company
\nClass EC driver\u2019s license
\nPRDP \u2013 Goods & Hazardous
\nOutstanding driving and mechanics skills.
\nSound knowledge of waste management is an advantage
\nDiligent with great attention to detail
\nInterpersonal skills
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nExcellent organizational and communication skills.<\/p>\n
