Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage and advise management on industrial and employee relations matters
\nEnsure full compliance with Botswana labour laws, regulations and statutory requirements
\nDevelop and implement employee relations policies, procedures and best practices
\nHandle disciplinary processes, grievances, workplace disputes, and hearings
\nLiaise with trade unions, labour authorities, and external stakeholders
\nSupport collective bargaining, negotiations and dispute resolution processes
\nProvide guidance on performance management, misconduct and employee engagement
\nAnalyse labour trends and provide regular reports to management<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in industrial relations, Human Resources, Labour Law, or a related field
\nMinimum 7 years\u2019 relevant experience, with at least 3 years in an IR\/ER management role, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector
\nStrong working knowledge of Botswana labour legislation and industrial relations practices
\nProven experience handling unions, dispute resolution and disciplinary processes
\nExcellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
\nHigh level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality<\/p>\n
