Reporting to the C & I Foreman, the C & I Technician is responsible for planning and carrying out diagnostics and repairs on surface and underground control systems and circuits to optimize performance and minimize downtime. The role also ensures the effective and efficient installation and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 post qualification experience in a mining environment, preferably underground mining and construction.
\nTechnical report writing and Troubleshooting skills
\nAdvanced computer skills and relevant computerized maintenance management systems
\nConceptual and analytical skills for root cause analysis.
\nKnowledge of PLC\/SCADA system and industrial networks
\nMembership to a recognized professional body for technicians
\nValid Class B Driver\u2019s License<\/p>\n
