JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. (JCHX) has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG\u2019s Khoemacau Copper Mine at Toteng, Zone 5, -Botswana. JCHX, a global mining contractor with nearly 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the development and operation of the underground mine. The project is seen as a significant step towards MMG\u2019s goal of increasing copper production at Khoemacau. We seek applications from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the above-mentioned position to be based at Toteng, Zone 5. Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Partner with line managers to provide proactive HR advisory support across the employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
\nManage work permits and immigration administration, ensuring full adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
\nLead and coordinate end-to-end recruitment for junior and entry-level roles, including workforce planning discussions, job advertising, candidate screening, interviewing, and placement.
\nProvide expert guidance to line managers and employees on industrial relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and dispute resolution, in line with company policies and Botswana Labour legislation.
\nManage and maintain effective relationships with the BMWU Branch committee, acting as a key point of contact for union representatives and supporting collective bargaining, consultations, and negotiations where applicable.
\nConduct OCC Meetings with BMWU Branch committee representation.
\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation in line with records management and data protection standards.
\nSupport payroll processes by ensuring accurate attendance records, employee data updates, and timely submission of payroll inputs.
\nFacilitate the Injury management and workers compensation process in conjunction with the HSE Department.
\nSupport performance management processes and staff development initiatives.
\nPromote and uphold corporate governance principles by ensuring HR practices, processes, and documentation meet organizational and legal standards.
\nPrepare & submit HR reports for the Client
\nManage subcontractors recruitment & monthly reports submission
\nContribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and perform additional duties as assigned in support of HR and business objectives.
\nPerform any other HR-related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.<\/p>\n

Degree Qualifications in Human Resources or Social Science or related discipline
\nAtleast 3-5 years in a similar role
\nClass B Manual driver\u2019s license
