Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Collect and analyse data to support reporting and decision making.
\nMaintain databases (for all ALM needs) meeting all elements of data management (timely, accuracy, reliability etc.).
\nDevelop and prepare financial reports that analyze subsidiary and Group level balance sheet, profitability, currency risk, liquidity risk, market risk and interest rate risk.
\nDrive automation of ALM reports.
\nAssist management in making informed decisions regarding asset and liability. strategies, pricing and risk management.
\nAssist with the Group\u2019s liquidity and funding management.
\nQuantify, analyse current and planned levels of risk exposure. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of exposures both at LAHL and Group level.
\nContribute towards drafting of ALM Polices and Procedures for the Group and subsidiaries.
\nFunding Planning for the subsidiaries and the Group (periodic forecast of funding and liquidity needs).
\nForecast Group and subsidiaries Cost of Funds.
\nAssist with the Group\u2019s interest rates risk management.
\nQuantify, analyse current and planned risk exposures.
\nPeriodic liaison with the Finance teams to ensure the correct risk profile is booked. Ensure compliance of all intercompany transactions.
\nContribute towards drafting of Interest Rate Risk Policies and Procedures for the Group and subsidiaries.
\nAssist with the Group\u2019s currency risk management.
\nQuantify, analyse current and planned risk exposures.
\nPeriodic liaison with the Finance teams to ensure the correct risk profile is booked. Ensure compliance of all intercompany transactions.
\nContribute towards drafting of Currency Risk Policies and Procedures for the Group and subsidiaries.
\nAssist with the Group\u2019s debt management.
\nEnsuring debt is recorded accordingly. Periodic liaison with the Finance teams to ensure the correct accounting.
\nPrepare Trade Confirmations and Pricing Supplements.
\nPrepare any required documentation for debt.
\nBuilding the Funds Pricing Curve for the Group and subsidiaries
\nContribute to the Group Pricing Committee
\nBuild analytics that ensure macro-economic forecasting across the Group markets
\nOn a weekly basis share market updates in each of the countries that the Group operates in.
\nMaintain macroeconomic variables database.
\nContribute towards all treasury activities as may be required.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
KnowledgeExperience in a multinational or multi-market environment is highly desirablecash management, financial risk management, and treasury operations.
\nProficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
\nProficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.
\nAnalytical Thinking: Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
\nProblem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and developing effective solutions.
\nCommunication: Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
\nTeam Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different markets.
\nAdaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.
\n1 \u2013 2 years working experience in treasury, finance or accounting roles.
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar related field.
\nCertifications ACCA, CIMA, CFA, ACI dealing certificate added advantage.<\/p>\n
