Conduct and sign off pre task risk assessment of the entire teams during their shift
\nAuthorize blasting operations and ensure exclusion zones are secured
\nEnforce zero tolerance to safety violations
\nEmergency response coordinator
\nComplete and submit daily statutory reports to the mining manager
\nExecute the shift production plan
\nManage interfaces between mining, drilling, geology, maintenance teams
\nOversee all crew on shift
\nAddress performance, conduct, or safety issues on shift
\nConduct shift change meetings to ensure seamless handover and takeover
\nMentor and develop other Junior Miners for succession planning
\nReview and approve timesheets for crews on shift<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Diploma in Mining Engineering
\n3 Years\u2019 experience in an underground mine
\nUnderground Blasting License
\nStrong understanding of geotechnical stability
\nHighest level of safety consciousness
\nAble write reports in English<\/p>\n
