Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Effective delivery of production assignments within budget, on time and to the required quality standards.
\nSafe and productive maximum utilisation of machine in custody.
\nEnsure that all equipment in custody is manned according to the established operating standards.
\nTimely complete and text minor service, post-trip and post-use inspection of equipment.
\nAbility to apply readiness when risk associated situations arise, application should be in line with the established company policy and procedure.
\nRegular liaison with supervisory personnel with regard to manpower and equipment availabilities, utilisations and breakdowns.
\nRegular safe operation of equipment in an acceptable manner and in accordance with the established company operating standards (SOPs) and in line with ISO values.
\nDemonstration of understanding the established change initiatives.
\nFollows production programs as directed by supervisors.
\nUnderstanding of SHE Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001).<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Junior Certificate (JC)\/Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE).
\nEquipment Operational Competency Certificate (MTTC).
\nBehavioural Skills, interpersonal and work task planning skills
\nAt least 3 years\u2019 work experience.
\nA valid Class B driver\u2019s
\nKnowledge of opencast and earthmoving machines
\nSafety oriented and output driven
\nWritten and verbal communication skills
\nMust have sober habits
\nProblem solving skills, efficiency and organisational
\nMedically fit<\/p>\n
