Requirements<\/p>\n
A PhD degree in Biotechnology or in a related area with a strong focus on Enzyme Technology or Microbial Biotechnology from a recognized institution.
\nA minimum of ten (10) years post-doctoral experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Industrial Biotechnology.
\nA research experience in Industrial Biotechnology and evidence of building and leading a research team in this field of study.
\nA record of recent and continuing publications of at least thirty (30) original scientific articles in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
\nEvidence of attracting research grants and managing research projects.
\nEvidence of accreditation as assessor and moderator from the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA).
\nEvidence of experience of successful supervision of postgraduate students.
\nEvidence of engagement in university, professional, and community services.
\nEvidence of involvement in academic leadership and management.
