Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct community outreach and health education on NCDs, healthy lifestyles, and disease prevention
\nFacilitate community dialogues, household visits, and awareness sessions
\nMobilise communities and engage local stakeholders and leaders
\nDistribute IEC materials and promote key health messages
\nPromote healthy behaviours and encourage use of preventive health services
\nSupport health campaigns and commemorative events
\nIdentify community concerns and barriers to health-seeking behaviour
\nCollect and maintain accurate data during outreach activities
\nPrepare daily, weekly and monthly activity reports
\nDocument success stories, feedback and lessons learned
\nSupport surveys, monitoring and project evaluation
\nReport emerging health concerns and challenges
\nWork closely with programme staff, health facilities and partners
\nStrengthen referral systems and community engagement
\nParticipate in trainings, meetings and capacity building activities
\nRepresent the organisation professionally in the community
\nPerform other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Social Sciences or related field
\nExperience in community outreach or health promotion will be an advantage
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work in community settings and travel within assigned areas
\nMust be based in or have accommodation in Gaborone or surrounding areas
\nPassion for public health and community development<\/p>\n
