Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Lead worship services and preach the Word, primarily in Afrikaans, or line with the language needs of the congregation
\nProvide pastoral care, counselling and spiritual support to members
\nCongregational development and spiritual guidance
\nInvolvement in community outreach
\nFacilitate congregational development and discipleship
\nAdminister sacraments and all ministerial duties in accordance with the DRCB Church Order
\nWork collaboratively with Church Council and the broader Church structures<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
A recognised theological qualification \u2013 BA Theology, BTh Theology or equivalent.
\nOrdination as a Minister within the Dutch Reformed Church or a recognised denomination (or eligibility to be recognised within DRCB)
\nDemonstrated Strong calling to ministry and commitment to spiritual leadership
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills
\nAbility to work effectively within a diverse congregational and community setting.
\nProficiency in Afrikaans as it is required for effective ministering within the congregation
\nKnowledge of English and\/or Setswana will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
